Acro coach & choreographer
Dakota Kendell
Dakota began dancing at just three years old and entered the competitive dance world by the age of twelve. Since then, she has earned numerous top marks and special awards for both her performances and choreography.
Currently serving as the Studio Director of NXTLVL Performance Group, Dakota brings strong leadership, creativity, and a deep passion for inspiring the next generation of dancers. She holds Acrobatic Arts Module 1 & 2 certifications and is dedicated to helping students develop safe, strong, and effective acro technique.
Known for her energetic, supportive, and motivating teaching style, Dakota loves helping dancers grow in confidence, strength, and artistry. She looks forward to continuing to share her love of dance through performance, education, and collaboration.

Nastassia Burynskaya
Nastassia Burynskaya is the founder of Sky Dance Studio and Sky Entertainment, a professional circus artist, coach, and fitness specialist. She began rhythmic gymnastics at age four, progressed to acrobatics, and entered the circus world around 15 years ago, specializing in aerial acts, hula hoops, and more.
Originally from Minsk, Belarus, Nastassia moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2019. Since 2015, she has been teaching circus and acrobatic arts in Belarus and Halifax, helping students of all ages develop strength, confidence, and safe, effective technique. She holds Acrobatic Arts Module 1 & 2 certifications, ensuring every student progresses safely while mastering their skills.
Through Sky Dance Studio, Nastassia creates a space where young dancers and acrobats can grow, gain performance experience, and discover their full potential. Her mission is to inspire every student to build confidence, master their craft, and step into the spotlight.

Our Story
Sky Dance Studio was founded by Nastassia Burynskaya with a clear vision—to create a space where young dancers and acrobats can grow, learn, and discover their full potential, just as she did when she was young. Drawing from her own journey in circus arts, professional sport, and performance, Nastassia wanted to offer more than training—she wanted to give young artists a stage and the chance to shine.​​

Nastassia often says:
