Refund Policy

Refund Policy for Sky Dance Studio Effective Date: August 20th 2025

At Sky Dance Studio, we strive to provide excellent services and a positive experience for all of our students. However, we understand that situations may arise where a refund or credit is necessary. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or credits are offered and the process for requesting them.

 

1. Classes and Workshops Refund Eligibility: Refunds for classes or workshops are available only if the request is made at least 7 days before the class or workshop start date. If the class or workshop has already started, no refund will be issued.

 

Class Cancellation (24-Hour Notice): If you need to cancel a class, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled class time will result in the funds being credited toward future classes or workshops. This credit will remain valid for 1 month from the original class date and can be applied to any future class or event.

 

Class Cancellation (Less than 5 Hours): Cancellations made less than 5 hours before the scheduled class time will not be refunded or credited toward future classes. No refund or credit will be issued in this case.

 

Partial Refunds or Credits: In exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness or emergencies), we may issue a partial refund or credit for future classes at the discretion of Sky Dance Studio.

 

Cancellation by Sky Dance Studio: If we cancel a class or workshop for any reason, the funds will not be refunded but instead will be credited toward future classes or workshops. This credit will remain valid for 1month from the original class date and can be applied to any future class or event of your choice.

 

2. Private Lessons Refunds: Private lessons must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund or credit. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson will not be refunded or credited.

 

Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule a private lesson, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. We will work with you to find an alternative time.

 

3. Events and Performances Non-refundable: Event registration fees and performance fees are generally non-refundable, except in the case of event cancellation by Sky Dance Studio.

Event Cancellation by Us: In the event that Sky Dance Studio cancels an event, the funds will be credited toward future events or classes. A refund may be issued only if no future credit is desired.

 

Participant Cancellation: If you need to cancel your participation in an event, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds will only be issued in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the studio.

 

4. Merchandise and Products Returns: Merchandise, such as dance apparel, accessories, and other products purchased through our studio or online store, can be returned within 14 days of purchase, provided the item is unused, in original condition, and in its original packaging.

Non-returnable Items: Certain items may not be eligible for return or refund, including custom-made merchandise or any items marked as "final sale."

 

5. How to Request a Refund or Credit To request a refund or credit, please follow these steps:

 

Contact Sky Dance Studio at info@skydance.ca with your request .

Provide your order or class details (e.g., date of purchase, class name, etc.) and a brief explanation for your request. If applicable, provide any required documentation (e.g., medical certificate for cancellations due to illness, proof of emergency, etc.).

 

6. Processing Time Refunds and credits are typically processed within 7 business days after the request has been approved. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction. If issued as a credit, it will be applied toward future classes or workshops.

 

7. No Refunds for Classes Already Attended Refunds will not be issued for classes, workshops, or events that have already been attended, unless agreed upon under special circumstances.

 

8. Exceptions Sky Dance Studio reserves the right to modify or waive the terms of this refund policy in exceptional cases. Any exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis and are at the sole discretion of the management team.
